English Standard Version (ESV)

The ESV Classic Reference Bible features a 14,500-entry concordance, over 80,000 center-column cross references, and full-color maps to aid in an individual’s Bible study. Size is 5.5″ x 8.5″.

This is a standard text edition that fits in most pew racks. It does not have center-column references (to make more room for the text) and contains sixty-five responsive readings consisting of passages that illustrate major biblical themes.

The Large Print Pew and Worship Edition of the ESV contains the same features as the regular Pew and Worship Edition but with larger print. The page numbering differs from the Pew and Worship Edition. This Bible is only slightly larger than its smaller-print counterpart.

As its name suggests, the ESV Wide Margin Reference Bible contains wide margins (1.25 inches) for extensive note-taking. The text itself is the same as the Classic Reference Bible (see above), but with a slightly smaller print size.

The ESV Literary Study Bible approaches the Bible as literature and shows how the application of literary tools of analysis helps tremendously in reading and understanding the Bible. Readers are introduced to the literary features of each book of the Bible and to each section within each book. While traditional Bibles are reference books, this is truly a reader’s Bible. The format and commentary make it ideal for private devotional reading, for preachers and Bible teachers, and for use in group Bible studies.

The ESV Single Column Reference Bible is the only ESV Bible (to date) available in a verse-by-verse format. its single-column format and reasonable print size make it ideal for reading while preaching, enabling a preacher to quickly pull out important verses.

This edition of the ESV contains the New Testament and the books of Psalms and Proverbs in a pocket-sized format.

The classic Cambridge Pitt Minion Reference Bible is now available in the English Standard Version! Like Cambridge’s Pitt Minion Bibles in other translations, they are characterized by an elegant text design using a font that is compact, yet clear and easy to read. This Bible has red-letter text and includes cross-references, a concordance and maps. It features India paper with art-gilt edges and like all Cambridge Bibles is Smyth-sewn. The ESV Pitt Minion conforms to the same standard of quality and durability as all the other Cambridge Bibles.

This Bible is unique among the ESV offerings in that it has a durable metal case instead of a traditional hardcover or leather case. The metal case completely encloses the Bible, providing protection against hard use and environments. The Battlezone Bible is a compact Bible, measuring less than 6 inches on the longest side.
